Boric acid kills ants, roaches, fleas, ticks, grasshoppers, termites and many more vermin who want to get at your tender plants.
It also kills mold and fungus. Don't have time for a garden? Try patronizing your local farmer's market or u-pick farms. You can inquire with individual farmers about their manner of pest control, and you support local businesses by keeping your food dollars in the community. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) has grown in popularity as a way to buy local, seasonal produce. You receive a box of produce weekly that varies, depending on the season and your preferences. It's a great way to support local farmers and introduce your family to fresh, tasty produce that you may not be familiar with.
