In fact, more than one-third of divorcees remarried after divorce, according to 2004 data from the U.S. Census. For about 50 percent of divorced people, those remarriages happened within 5 years of the end of the first marriage. With more than half of marriages ending in divorce, you're in good company if you're newly single and considering whether or not to marry again.
