French Toast

When in your kitchen, do as the French do. This fabulous French toast is a mouth-watering way to start your morning. It's the best thing since sliced bread.

For 12 people

  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup(s) 1% milk
  • 1 tablespoon(s) syrup (in batter)
  • 1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
  • 12 slices bread


  1. Blend ingredients well. Dip bread slices in batter.
  2. Spray cookie sheets with cooking spray.
  3. Place battered bread on sheets.
  4. Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Brown slices on both sides, sprinkle with cinnamon and serve hot.
