Venetian Steak

Venetian Steak

Ingredients

For 4 people

  • 32 ounce(s) chuck steak, cut into serving pieces
  • 1 teaspoon(s) oregano
  • 1 dash(es) pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon(s) wine vinegar
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 2 cup(s) peeled tomatoes
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) garlic salt, to taste
  • 2 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil

Directions

Arrange meat in a large skillet, cover with onion soup mix and tomatoes. Sprinkle with oregano, garlic salt, pepper, oil and vinegar. Simmer covered for 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
Ready in 1 ½ hour
