Your brush is as good as new. If you don't feel like splurging, a simple concoction of 2 part water and 1 part vinegar will do the trick. Dip the brushes in the liquid and then wash with warm water. Another option is to use shampoo on the brushes. After gently lathering the brush, rinse with warm water and allow to air dry. Brushes should always be placed flat to avoid damaging the bristles. This should be done at least once a week. If you're using liquid products, brushes should be properly washed on a daily basis. When brushes have noticeable stains and become misshapen, make it out with the old and in with the new.
