This pork shoulder will soak up flavors from potatoes, onions and sauerkraut seasoned with caraway seeds, paprika, and raisins while cooking. And, it will still keep its original smoked fragrance.

Layer sauerkraut on the bottom, then potatoes and onions in crock-pot. Combine raisins, flour, paprika and pepper and sprinkle over onions. Cut shoulder in half lengthwise and place on top. Cook on “high” for 4 hours.
