Baked Brie and Roasted Garlic
This appetizer is a real breeze. The creamy, buttery brie, infused with the deep, sweet flavor of olive oil and fresh, roasted garlic is downright decadent when served on toasted baguette slices. We guarantee it'll be the talk of your next dinner party.
Ingredients
For 8 people
- 4 heads garlic
- 1/3 cup(s) olive oil
- 1 teaspoon(s) coarse salt
- 16 ounce(s) brie (4, 4 oz. wheels)
- 1 loaf toasted baguette, sliced
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove skin from garlic. Arrange garlic tightly in small baking dish. Drizzle with oil. Sprinkle with salt. Cover with foil. Bake until garlic is very tender, 75 to 90 minutes.
Preheat broiler. Mark each wheel of cheese with a large X on top. Set each in small baking dish. Broil until browned and bubbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Serve immediately with garlic and toasted baguette slices.
