Baked Mussels

Ingredients

- 1/2 tablespoon(s) smelt roe
- 1 tablespoon(s) mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon(s) soy sauce, to taste
- 6 green mussels in shells
- 1 teaspoon(s) hot sauce, to taste
- 1 tablespoon(s) sliced green onions
Directions
Blend smelt roe with mayonnaise and a little soy sauce until desired flavor is achieved. This is called masago cream sauce. Arrange mussels on oven-proof plate and spoon masago cream sauce over them. Broil until browned, about 6 minutes. Top with hot sauce and green onions.
