  • 12 ounce(s) challah, broken in pieces, soaked in hot water and drained.
  • 1 cup(s) sugar
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
  • 1/2 cup(s) chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup(s) golden raisins
  • 2 apples, peeled and chopped.

Directions

  1. Lightly grease a 9 x 11 inch baking dish and pour in mixture. Sprinkle a little sugar, cinnamon and nut mixture on top and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
