Cheese Ravioli in Cream
You will never even consider using canned raviolis again after making this dynamic dish. The collaboration of pepperoni, mushrooms and onions will melt together to create a delicious symphony of tastes in this creamy, dreamy mouthwatering sauce. Saying "cheese" will take on a whole different meaning.
Ingredients
For 4 people
- 25 ounce(s) frozen cheese ravioli
- 1/2 pound(s) fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 3 1/4 ounce(s) sliced pepperoni, diced
- 1 small onion, cut into wedges
- 1 tablespoon(s) butter
- 8 ounce(s) tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup(s) grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) dried oregano
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup(s) sour cream
Directions
Cook ravioli according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, sauté mushrooms, pepperoni and onion in butter until onion is tender. Stir in tomato sauce, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, basil, oregano and cayenne; heat through. Remove from the heat; stir in sour cream. Drain ravioli; toss with cream sauce.
