Cheese & Veggie Sandwich
This vegetarian sandwich is so tasty and satisfying, you'll forget that there is no meat in it! This Mexican taco salad pita has all the inspiration with none of the guilt.
Ingredients
For 1 people
- 1 whole wheat pocket pita
- 1/2 cup(s) fat free refried beans
- 1 cup(s) mixed salad greens
- 1/4 cup(s) fat free cheddar
- 1/2 cup(s) salsa
- 1 tablespoon(s) chopped onion
Directions
- Place the beans in a microwave safe bowl, top with the cheese and nuke for about 45 seconds to 1 minute; spoon into a toasted pita round. In a small bowl toss the salsa into the salad greens, add onion, and stuff in the pita.
