Chunky Pork & Sausage Chili in Crock Pot
Pork your hunger with this delicious crock pot recipe. Trade just a little prep time for a lot of scrumptious time at dinner. Serve over rice, with cornbread, celery and carrot sticks on side. Garnish with sour cream and fresh cilantro for an even bigger bang.
Ingredients
For 5 people
- 16 ounce(s) boneless pork country-style ribs, cut into 3/4-inch cubes
- 8 ounce(s) fully cooked smoked sausage, cut into 1/2-inch slices
- 1 cup(s) chopped onion
- 1 cup(s) chopped celery
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 3/4 cup(s) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 3/4 cup(s) tomato sauce
- 1 1/4 cup(s) diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 8 floz beer
- 2 teaspoon(s) chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) ground cumin
- 1 dash(es) salt to taste
- 1 dash(es) pepper, to taste
Directions
Place all ingredients in 4 quart slow cooker; mix gently. Cover and cook on “low” heat setting for 8-10 hours until pork is tender.
