Grilled Cheese
Grilled cheese sandwiches are the ultimate comfort food for kids from two to ninety-two. You can keep things simple with white bread and American slices for the kids, or get creative with sourdough slices and Gouda or Gruyere for a more grownup flavor.
Ingredients
For 1 people
- 2 slices of bread of your choice
- 2 slices of cheese of your choice (you can always use more cheese)
- 1 pat of butter
Directions
Begin to heat your frying pan on a medium flame.
Add a pat of butter to the frying pan so it can begin to melt [optional].
Butter one side of each slices of the bread and put them butter-side-down into the frying pan.
Add a slice of cheese to each piece of bread.
Let cook for like a minute and then use your spatula to combine the sandwich.
Cook on each side for another minute and then enjoy your cheesey goodness.
