Homemade Tomato Soup
Can the can – this fresh version of a comforting favorite is ready in a snap and so tasty! It will become a favorite on those cold winter days. Serve with fresh salad or a classic grilled cheese sandwich.
Ingredients
For 4 people
- 4 tablespoon(s) light butter
- 4 tablespoon(s) flour
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 8 fresh tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper
- 2 cup(s) skim milk
Directions
Saute butter, flour, and green onion in pan. In another pan heat tomatoes. When tomatoes are heated, add rest of ingredients along with the sauteed mixture. Bring to a boil and eat.
