Sausage in Mini Quiches
What it lacks in size, it doesn't lack in taste. Sausage, Swiss cheese, chives, butter, half-and-half cream, and a pinch of cayenne are the perfect ingredients of these divine quiches.
Ingredients
For 1 people
- 1 cup(s) butter, softened
- 6 ounce(s) packages cream cheese, softened
- 2 cup(s) all-purpose flour
- 6 ounce(s) bulk Italian sausage
- 1 cup(s) shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 tablespoon(s) minced chives
- 2 eggs
- 16 tablespoon(s) half-and-half cream
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) cayenne pepper
Directions
- In a mixing bowl, beat butter, cream cheese and flour until smooth. Shape tablespoonfuls of dough into balls; press onto the bottom and up the sides of greased miniature muffin cups.
- In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Sprinkle sausage, Swiss cheese and chives into muffin cups. In a bowl, beat eggs, cream, salt and pepper. Pour into shells; bake at 375 degrees for 28-30 minutes or until browned and serve warm
