Spicy Chili Beef
If you've bean there, done that, you'll love this chili that leaves out the legumes. And for those who do love those beans, simply add them at the end.
Ingredients
For 1 people
- 1/4 cup(s) olive oil
- 48 ounce(s) lean ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 tablespoon(s) chili powder (4 to 6 tbsp.)
- 2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 2 teaspoon(s) oregano
- 2 teaspoon(s) Tabasco
- 2 teaspoon(s) ground cumin
- 48 floz water
- 1/3 cup(s) white cornmeal
Directions
- Heat oil in large pot, add beef and brown well. Drain any grease. Add garlic, chili powder, salt, oregano, cumin, Tabasco and water. Stir and mix well. Simmer for 1 hour covered. Add cornmeal carefully so that it doesn't lump. Cook 1/2 hour uncovered.
