Tangy Citrus Tofu
Tofu never tasted so good! Just marinate in the morning and it's ready to throw on the grill when you get home.
Ingredients
For 2 people
- 14 ounce(s) or 15 oz. package of extra-firm tofu, cut into 8 or 9 slices
- 2 lemon, juice of
- 1/4 cup(s) orange juice
- 2 tablespoon(s) maple syrup
- 2 tablespoon(s) unfiltered apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon(s) olive oil, plus extra for brushing grill
- 1/2 ounce(s) rosemary
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
- 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) Bragg Liquid Aminos
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) black pepper
Directions
Whisk all the ingredients except the tofu in a bowl to make the marinade. Put the tofu slices in a flat dish and pour the marinade on top. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours. Turn the grill on medium heat and brush lightly with some olive oil. Grill the tofu slices, brushing with extra marinade while cooking, about 5 minutes for each side.
You may substitute soy sauce for Bragg Liquid Aminos.
