Veal Parmesan
This classic Parmesan recipe can be used just the same on veal, chicken or eggplant. Skip the restaurant and stay at home with this family favorite.
Ingredients
For 6 people
- 6 veal cutlets
- 1/2 cup(s) milk
- 1/4 cup(s) cooking oil
- 1 cup(s) seasoned bread crumbs
- 3 eggs
- 6 slices Mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup(s) Parmesan cheese
- 1 dash salt, to taste
- 1 dash black pepper, to taste
Directions
Combine milk, eggs and salt and pepper in small mixing bowl. Place bread crumbs in a flat dish. Flatten cutlets; dip each in egg batter and then dredge in breadcrumbs. Quickly dip into egg batter and place in skillet with hot oil; brown veal on each side. Place cutlets in "Pam-ed" oblong baking dish and top each cutlet with a slice of Mozzarella cheese. Bake at 375 degrees until cheese melts.
