Watermelon -Strawberry Smoothie
This smoothie is bright, sweet, and packed with so much nutrition that you'll be tickled pink. Try it as a mobile breakfast or as an afternoon pick-me-up.
Ingredients
For 4 people
- 4 cup(s) cold watermelon, seeds removed
- 2 cup(s) fresh strawberries, cleaned and hulled
- 8 ounce(s) low-fat lemon yogurt (or nonfat plain yogurt)
- 2 cup(s) crushed ice
- 1 sugar substitute, to taste
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Variation: Add a peeled and sliced banana to smoothie mixture before blending. Depending on your dietary inclinations, you can substitute scoops of vanilla ice cream for the yogurt.
