Being a parent can be chaotic enough, but having a spouse who's reluctant to help with the kids and chores can really up the stress meter.
Dividing chores and responsibilities is one of the challenges of living with a partner, and not surprisingly, it's one of the things couples bicker about the most. While most of us are far from perfect domestic goddesses, we usually get the job done. Meanwhile, our men are more likely to shirk their domestic duties or complain about having to perform them.

It's one of the top complaints of women everywhere, and it's easy to see why.
- Working mothers can easily become overwhelmed when they come home to a house full of chores that need to be done. If both parents are working, it's only logical that the man and woman each do their share of housework. When a husband complains of being too tired to help out when you're absolutely exhausted, it can be unbelievably frustrating.
- Work at home moms may be at home most days, but they're working! It's not easy to make a house sparkle when you're trying to tackle a big project on deadline and entertain your children at the same time.
- Stay at home moms have all day to take care of a house. The catch is, it usually does take up the whole day, especially when young children live in the house. By the time dad comes home, mom could use a hand.
