Perhaps the problem lies in the way you each view yourselves, or maybe a libido-killing medication is at fault. If that's the case, then speaking with a therapist or your doctor can help. If you find that you're just not connecting anymore outside of the bedroom, then talk about it. Find ways to enjoy each other's company and feel connected again. More intimacy will happen naturally. If you're trying and just not making that connection - or just don't care enough to do so - then sex might be the least of your relationship problems. It's important to remember that love still exists if you want to make an effort to have more sex. If you both agree that it's not a priority, then the "don't fix it if it isn't broken" philosophy applies. The important thing is to keep the lines of communication open.
