A hydrating primer can help distribute color better. Be cautious of concealer as well - many heavier formulas can settle into those very lines you're trying to hide, creating a cakey, dated look. Try to avoid fine lines when applying concealer and consider using a highlighting formula, which contains light diffusers. Go soft on your brows, allowing for a little growth and more subtle arching as you age - harsh lines and arches can look overdone. Loading on more lipstick than you need will allow color to settle into the lines around the lips and give you that "grandma" look - especially when you wear brighter colors. Apply only as much as you need and go easy on corners; a lip pencil can help give you a more precise look. Freshen up your makeup, and you just might look younger!
